"What is" is changing all the time, according to your expectations

Almost end of February... gosh, it's hard to believe that my grandma was sooooooooo right in saying that time flies when you're older. 

Since I started Curated by Mon, I've learned a few things about myself and about the world of blogging. Every time I write here it's a big challenge! Mainly because I am not very good with words. I like photos. I like telling stories through my work, my photos. But  I also love challenging myself, so bare with me, I will catch up.

Anyway, my main goal is to inspire others, and at the same time to inspire myself, so here is my February food of thought as a wrap up of this very busy month. 

 

" What is" is  changing all the time according to your expectations

 

Your reality is the one you create now. It's your choice if you wish your reality to be dipped in past and future, and let that take over you and weigh you down.

What it is, is what it is now, in this present moment. Nothing is stopping you from creating the reality that will make you bloom.  

We can be talking about any situation here. For instance, weather is shit for two weeks now; are you going to let it ruin your life? Are you going to let your mood be dictated by the fact that it's been raining? 

No! Why? Because you have a choice! You can choose sunshine. 

Always choose the bright side of things and learn to let go of controlling your life to the minute. We have so much resistance in our lives, mainly because we are over controlling with our own selves. This is something that society teaches us. Control your beauty, speech, how you walk, how you look, how quick you get to a place  etc. 

Have you ever wondered why it takes you so long to relax when you go on holiday?  

Well it's because we are so tense and full of control that we are in a constant rush and overthinking mood. So it will take a few days for your body to adjust to the new relaxation mood, and next things you know you're back in the rush rush rush reality. 

You must let go of things that hold you back, such as control,  lower your expectations and your "what is" will feel right in this moment.  

I must say, it's not an easy thing, and I find myself battling with this from time to time. However the first steps are the most important ones. Being aware of yourself and your presence in the moment is crucial.
